What is MapGenPro?
MapGenPro is the hardfware and software we've developed to assist rescue personnel in quickly and accurately locating cellphone callers in need of emergency help. MapGenPro does this by combining the best cellphone tracking software with the most accurate maps available in your area.
How can we be so sure that the maps are so accurate? Because we use YOUR MAPS! The maps your county is already generating on a daily basis, which contain the latest updates of new roads, road construction and bridge closures, are the maps we integrate with our tracking hardware and software.
We foresee AT LEAST three major uses for the MapGenPro system:
LOCATING CELLPHONE USERS who call 9-1-1 in an emergency
LOCATING ALL EMERGENCY ASSETS within a particular area
PROVIDES G.P.S. FOR RESCUERS and accurate point-to-point driving directions for emergency vehicles to reach those who need help.
The primary use of MapGenPro, saving lives, is the whole reason we developed this system. It's ability to accurately locate any local cellphone caller within only a few minutes can literally mean the difference between life and death. Pinging a cellphone tower can only tell you if a caller is within a 20 to 30 mile radius. Triangulation from pinging several cell towers can narrow that area a little, but can still leave a very large area to search in.
Our system progressively narrows the cellphone location and updates the result every 30 seconds until an exact location of a caller is revealed. Time saved equals lives saved when it comes to accurately locating someone in need of rescue.
A secondary (but still vital) benefit of MapGenPro is it's ability to overlay your cellphone tracking map with real-time tracking of all Emergency Rescue assets in the area. Many Emergency Service Departments may already have a system to track police, fire and EMS vehicles, but MapGenPro offers the ability to integrate that information on the same map / same screen as the cellphone tracker. Fewer computer monitors saves on equipment costs and fewer information sources to keep track of help 9-1-1 operators be more efficient.
G.P.S. FOR RESCUERS
In-car computer monitors can be synced to MapGenPro so that first responders (not just emergency operators) can view, in real-time, the cell phone tracking map and receive point-to-point driving directions from their current location. This could be a game-changer for new hires at police, fire and EMS departments. It takes time for new hires to learn all the streets and best travel routes in an area. MapGenPro can shorten that learning curve by months and shave precious minutes off response times.
